Vaughan Super Steel Hammers have a polished striking head and pein, with rust resistant black paint finish. Their oval American hickory handles are lacquered and provide a firm, comfortable grip. Their unique head-to-handle construction puts more wood in the eye and neck sections to reduce the possibility of handle breakage. Vaughan Professional Hammers have highly polished head, cheeks and pein. Their fiberglass handles have a heavy concentration of fibers and resin in the neck section for maximum strength, while the patented hollow core in the grip section absorbs shock and improves balance. The cushioned, slip-resistant PVC grip resists oil and grease. The Solid Steel Ball Pein hammers include our patented Shock-Blok® plug, which absorbs shock and reduces vibration.
