Vaughan Professional Fiberglass Handle Hammers
A common complaint with ordinary fiberglass handle hammers is that accidental overstrikes cause the fiberglass to fray, exposing sharp fibers and weakening the handle. Not so with Vaughan.
Vaughan Fiberglass hammers are forged from American made, high carbon steel and carefully heat treated and tempered. During the handle molding process extra resin is forced into the neck section, super-saturating the fiberglass strands to prevent fraying. The hollow core absorbs shock, and provides Vaughan fiberglass hammers with the balance and "feel" of wood. Head is wedged and epoxy sealed with a slip resistant grip, contoured for comfort.
